Ohio Ethnic/Racial/Ancestry Data

As expected, outside of the major cities, Ohio is rather uniformly white.  Much of the state is above 80%, with many of the counties below either containing cities or being adjacent to them.  The highest percentage of whites seems to be Holmes County, making up an enormous 98.13% of the county's population.  This county is the long one southwest of the city of Canton on the map.

The black/African American only category doesn't reveal much else, but it does make some of the slightly diverse counties more noticeable, though they don't get much higher than about 5%.

While most of the other races didn't reveal anything interesting, other than the fact that some of the counties contain absolutely no people of certain races, the Hispanic numbers did show up with an interesting pattern.  While they mostly follow the patterns shown in the other two, there is a distinctly large amount of them along the state's northern border.  The locations with the most aren't even in the major cities, either, but are in these counties on the northern border, going as high as 10%.  Why this is would require research into the particular areas, but it is a noteworthy observation.

Total population: White alone %
Total population: Black or African American alone %
Total population: Hispanic or Latino %

Ohio only having a mostly white population does make sense, even though I have never thought about it until now. It being next to PA, Virginia, Michigan, might affect this?? It is crazy that there is only places with 5% black or African American, I didn't think Ohio was this not diverse.
