        This is a map of areas with families whose income is less than $10,000. This can be found under ACS 2022 5-year estimate. California is a more wealthy state, so it would be very difficult for a family to survive on this income. This is likely why we see very few areas of income less than $10,000. The areas that are closer to this income margin are closer inland. The wealthiest areas in California are close to big cities and along the coastline.

        This is a map of areas with families whose income is less than $35,000. This is according to the ACS 2022 5-year estimate. In California, this would still be quiet difficult to live off of as a family due to high expenses. There are some counties that are close to 40% have less than $35,000 income.

        This map shows the areas with families whose income is more than $200,000. This is the opposite end of the spectrum and families could live very nicely in California with this income. The areas with the most amount of families like this are concentrated around San Francisco and along the coast.
